IN VAIN: New Album Pushed Back To September
May 20, 2009"Mantra", the sophomore album from Norwegian extreme metallers IN VAIN, has been delayed until after the summer. The band says, "This is for practical reasons and that September is a more suitable time to release the album. In addition, artwork and master is not done yet. We did not know this ourselves until today and are sincerely sorry for our misleading information. Anyway, we are certain that it will be worth the wait."

IN VAIN released its full-length debut, "The Latter Rain", in 2007 via Indie Recordings. The CD was recorded at DUB Studio (GREEN CARNATION, BLOOD RED THRONE, CHAIN COLLECTOR) in the summer/fall of 2006 and involved close to 20 guest musicians and several guest vocalists, such as Jan K. Transeth (IN THE WOODS...) and Kjetil Nordhus (GREEN CARNATION, TRAIL OF TEARS).
